PROWEIN 2024: Félix Solís Avantis presents the technological advances and innovations of its new barrel ageing cellar
At PROWEIN, the leading international trade fair for the wine sector, Félix Solís Avantis has been celebrated as a pioneering company in the application of new technologies to the wine sector. Its participation in the technological forum "Wine Goes Tech: From Robots to AI, From Vineyard to Shelf", organised by the specialist publication Meininger's International, has highlighted its commitment to innovation and sustainability.

This unprecedented project, with a capacity for 130,000 barrels and an investment of 70 million euros, is one of the most advanced, efficient and sustainable on the world wine scene.
Its integral automation allows exhaustive control of all processes, from the reception of the grapes to the final bottling. This translates into greater efficiency, quality and food safety, as well as a notable reduction in environmental impact.
The winery has become one of the most advanced in the world for ageing wine in the Valdepeñas designation of origin. Its commitment to cutting-edge technology and sustainability consolidates Félix Solís Avantis as a benchmark in the transformation of the wine sector.
Félix Solís Avantis: harvest of successes and awards
Félix Solís Avantis is currently reaping success and recognition at international level. In the prestigious Mundus Vini competition, the company has been awarded a total of 20 gold medals and 15 silver medals, with special Best of Show awards as best wine in its category for Los Molinos Gran Reserva 2018 (best wine DO Valdepeñas), Gran Bajoz 2020 (best wine DO Toro), Condado de Oriza Crianza 2021 (best wine DO Ribera del Duero), Southern Ocean 2023 (best wine of New Zealand).
Its harvest of awards continued at the Berliner Wine Trophy, where it has obtained the Gran Gold for the Arnegui Gran Reserva 2017 (DOCa. Rioja) and 25 additional gold medals. These awards consolidate Félix Solís Avantis as one of the most prestigious wineries in the world, recognised for the excellence and quality of its wines.
