The winery and bottling plant are capable of producing up to 80 million bottles a year.
Its surface area measuring 20,000 square metres also serves as the logistical platform for the remaining Asian countries in the area

It has 32 stainless steel tanks, which are controlled by computer.  The winery receives its wine from the Central Winery in Valdepeñas and is subsequently commercialised in the large supermarket chains which have been established throughout China.

The Shanghai Félix Solís facilities include an office building, winery, laboratory and large warehouses to house the finished product. The bottling plant works at a rate of 4,500 bottles an hour.

The wines are prepared in accordance with the Chinese taste who prefer “dry red wine”. In contrast to clients from countries with long grape and wine-growing traditions, the Chinese want wines which are easy to drink and low in acid and tannin. Furthermore, we have also adapted their presentation to local tastes, with all text translated to Chinese, predominantly gold labels and wooden cases.
