Pagos del Rey DO Rueda successfully commercialises two types of wine which are differentiated by their channels. Blume for Modern Distribution – large and small supermarkets and shops – and Analivia for Horeca (hotels, restaurants and catering). A Verdejo varietal and a type of Rueda are commercialised through both channels and a Sauvignon Blanc varietal is merchandised through Analivia.
GENERALLY SPEAKING, OUR WINES PRESENT THE FOLLOWING COMMON CARACTERISTICS:
Our
RUEDA has an attractive green hue with steel-like glints. With regards the nose, worth special mention are the intense floral and tropical fruit aromas which are due to the blend of the Verdejo and Viura varieties. This fresh wine has a fruity and exotic mouthfeel.
Our
VERDEJO is lemon-coloured and lightly golden. The nose is fresh and aromatic, reminiscent of fennel and recently cut grass and with a mature fruit aftertaste. It has a soft, oily and fruity mouthfeel and a lingering aftertaste.
Lastly, our
SAUVIGNON BLANC is pale yellow with greenish hues, has an intense nose with notes of many fruits, including citric and exotic fruits such as mango and pineapple combined with herby nuances. It has a fresh, fruity and vibrant mouthfeel and is easier to drink than the Verdejo, the variety which is often used for blending in Rueda.
